In recent times, I have been struggling
with certain issues that I'll prefer to spare you the details about but will
rather go on to reveal the lessons learnt.
I have gone through a lot of mental and
physiological challenges that it took an extra faith in GOD to surmount.
There are situations that come ones way
that are akin to quicksand, thus can swallow up a person if there's no firmer
anchor.
There are loads of internal and
external forces or factors that can completely bamboozle a person if care is thrown
to the winds...
Over the years, I've made it a point of
duty to learn from nature, thus holds a lot of learning indications that can
unleash a person unto heights of depth-ful insight if attention is given to it.
A lot of humanity's challenges can be
sipped like a cup of tea if we can take a pause and be more observant to the
unshakable laws of nature that abound...
The reason for this briefing is because
of the thought that came to me when I was pondering about a certain challenge,
a habit I wanted to do away with but seemed insurmountable because of the
pressure I felt whenever I made an attempt to trash it.
I would become so restless and
uncomfortable till I would helplessly go back to it.
However I'm a staunch believer of the
reality that "every challenge has a solution".
Now back to the thought that birthed
this article.
I was pondering about my inability to
let go of the old habits and embrace the new habit I so desired and a word came
with a vivid mental illustration...
The word said; you are trying to
unbirth to birth, but find it unable to birth because of the pains attached
therein, you are forgetting that just like a natural birth, cracks and pains
unexplainable must be experienced, but the end product; a novel beauty, all
things being equal.
A woman who gives up on birthing her
pregnancy will never experience the joy embedded in beholding the fruit of her
womb.
The word continued; hold forth it said,
see your new habit as a baby you want to birth and see the discomfort of giving
up on the old habit as the pain you must inevitably undergo in order to birth
your new habit just as a woman must go through excruciating pain to birth a
child.
If you hold on long enough, the pains
of birthing will be forgotten and the joy of birthing will be attained.
I am committed to applying this
suggestion that was inspirationally proffered, I will keep you posted about the
outcome.
Compliments of the season and always
remember; everyone is a work in progress and every day is a chance to hit at
life with our best shot(s).
Cheerio...
