Out of the blues it came, Bringing terror with its name, Its entrance disrupted our existence, Its mission a puzzle to common-sense… A killer unleashed on planet earth, A novel appearance difficult to unearth, What seemed prime to humans no longer does, Everyone is home, no more thriving open stores… Staring into space now the norm of the day, No longer free to have one’s fundamental right of way, The status quo for all now is boredom, The chant on every mind is it has overstayed its welcome… All days now look alike, All because of a certain virus with the spike, Its chief aim is to enforce isolation, None is exempted, its ravage is from nation to nation… People dying without a befitting burial, Once in isolation their rights suffer an outright denial, Their bodies family members will see not if they leave not there alive, Fear, panic, prayers for their loved ones to survive… A pathetic plight has befallen humanity, Exposing all pursuits as sheer vanity, Lofty activities now thro...
